With more than 50 years of experience from professional pilot education, OSM Aviation Academy is now expanding our offering to include a Drone Operator Course (DOC).
This course has been designed to give you the knowledge and skills you need to become a professional drone operator.
You will learn:
How to prepare a government-approved Operations Manual (OM) for drone operations.
Theoretical knowledge tailored to ensure that you pass the mandatory theoretical exam issued by the Norwegian Aviation Authority (Luftfartstilsynet).
Practical drone flying lessons.
OSM Aviation RPAS skill test | A third-party validation of your skills that makes you qualified for drone missions from OSM Aviation.
Each course is 3 days in length, where the first 2 days focus on the theoretical knowledge and the 3rd day is dedicated to practical drone flying.
After completing our Drone Operator Course (DOC) you will be a licensed drone operator. The categories you can operate within depends on your Operations Manual and the approvals you apply for with the authorities after graduating from this course.
You will be able to conduct commercial drone flights through your own company, or on behalf of a drone operator.
Passing the OSM Aviation RPAS skill test means that you have the opportunity to fly drone missions on behalf of OSM Aviation Drone.
